COMMENTS FROM EDUCATORS:

"[Erik Wood's] ReTech Art Program provides the children with a wealth
of materials from which to choose. The children interact with the materials
without any preconceptions. They discover for themselves that they have
the power to make decisions about what they do with the selected
materials. It's all their choice; how the materials are placed is their choice.
The outcome is theirs. Their art is amazing to behold."
- Joyce James, Director, Susan Wagner Day Schools

"Many of our children do not speak English. We used their fascination
with the art materials to develop language and communicate in concrete
and meaningful ways. To boost the children's self-esteem, we sponsored
an art show in the evening and all the parents came, along with influential
people in the commmunity. The work was beautiful."
- Bonnie Lou Mallonga, Education Director,
1199 Future of America Learning Center

"The work has been heralded by parents, teachers, art educators and art
critics alike. It verifies the research on brain development and underscores
the great importance of early education."
- Charles Paprocki, former Managing Director,
Early Childhood Strategic Group

THE NATIONAL ARTS CLUB

As stunningly demonstrated in the exhibit " The Remarkable Art of Four-Year-Olds " at The National Arts Club,
preschoolers have a tremendous capacity to use and integrate a varietyof materials in creating art. Erik said,
"I don't teach art—what the children don't know. Rather, I encourage them to express themselves by using an
art form that has a rich variety of tools and materials from which to choose. It is amazing how four- and even
three-year-olds are able to concentrate on a project for up to two hours."
